The position of carbide sharpener II is to be able to run saw sharpening equipment independently with little guidance as to the general operations and product identification.
Essential Functions :
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
- Run and inspection saw blades as they are sharpened to print requirements.
- Maintain equipment, general PM’s clean grease and change cutting wheels ect. As required.
- Maintain proper flow of material through the production area.
- Keep track of all required paperwork.
- Responsible for housekeeping in work area and follow 6S requirements.
- Setup and trouble shoot machine issues.
- Program machines as necessary for new products.
- Work with SSR and management teams on manufacturing and customer issues.

- Strong understanding of general equipment and operations.
- Ability to lean and comprehend complex machine setups.
- Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with calipers and other measuring devices.
